Abstract
The Elliot J. Pieze Papers Collection, contains materials related to the life and family of Elliot J. Pieze. The first box of this collection contains his scrapbook "Memories of Yesterday", where he collects his own articles detailing the weekly goings-on of 3rd Ave in Overtown. The second part of the scrapbook contains photos of him and his family. Series 2 of the collection is loose items that were within the scrapbook, they were removed and placed in individual folders denoting what page they were found on within the scrapbook. The rest of the collection details Pieze's military career, correspondence, funerary documents, newspaper clippings and Booker T. Washington Commencement invitations.
