Abstract
Fletcher Alonzo Paschal JR. (b.1921 d. 2004) was a prominent member of the Overtown community for over 75 years. He was an accomplished saxophone player, WWII veteran of the 92nd infantry, and the first African American Driver's Education teacher south of the Mason-Dixon Line. He was also a former president of The King of Clubs of Greater Miami, INC., as well as a Senior Warden for The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation for 21 years, later beccoming Senior Warden Emritus. He also served as a Chaplain of the Gideons Hialeah Camp. The collection was donated by his wife, Mrs. Agenoria S.Paschal. The collection includes family information, community event programs, news articles, obituraies, and documents from local organizations the Paschal's were involved with.
