Accrual Policy
After a preliminary survey was conducted, it was discovered that the records were in no particular order. It was decided by our chief archivist, Dr. Dorothy Fields to separate the calendars and resource guides from the Bell South calendars collection to make two separate collections, the Black History General Calendar and the AT&T African American History Calendar. The calendars then were transferred into acid-free file folders. After being appropriately labeled, the folders were organized in chronological order and placed in acid-free Hollinger boxes. A content listing was made, and the files were inputted into the collections database. Appropriate labels were attached, and the boxes were stored in the ready reference room.
